Traaaction supports three reward types. Pick the one that matches what your partners actually influence.
SALE
Triggered by a one-time purchase. The commission is calculated from the net amount (after tax) and can be a flat value or a percentage.
- Example: 10% of each new
$99plan sale. - Hold period: 30 days (to cover chargebacks).
LEAD
Triggered by a signup, demo booking, or any lead action you choose to track. Flat amount only.
- Example:
€5per qualified signup. - Hold period: 3 days (leads don't usually get refunded).
RECURRING
Triggered by a subscription. A commission is created on the first invoice and again on each renewal, up to a configurable number of months (recurring_max, or null for lifetime).
- Example: 20% for 12 months on each subscription.
- Hold period: 30 days per month (to cover cancellations).
- The first month is tagged
RECURRING, notSALE, if a subscription is present.
What if the amount is zero?
Trials, credits, and fully discounted sales (grossAmount <= 0) are skipped. No commission is created.
